Classroom Expectations

Mr. Donagher

Be Responsible, Be On Time, Be Respectful

Be Responsible – bring your math stuff to class; your folder with your math papers, something to write with, and a calculator. Let one of us know if…something is going on in your life that would affect your schoolwork or if you are going on vacation and need your work ahead of time. Check the notebook and folder when you are absent before seeing me and be sure to return the make-up work in a timely fashion.

Be On Time –you are in your seat and have your materials. If you need to use the restroom or get a drink do so before class starts. Let me know where you are going.

Be Respectful – You are expected to tolerate everyone in the room. Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.

The consequences for not abiding by these expectations are as follows:

First infraction Verbal warning

Second infraction – TPT and referral to the office

Third infraction – Write-up, a call home and a referral to the office

Fourth infraction- Sent to office and they will take care of things.

I do not start over each marking period.

***Severe infractions or failure to comply with the above procedure will result in an immediate referral to the appropriate administrator.

All students are expected to adhere to the rules outlined in the student handbook and the district’s rules. If you have questions regarding your handbook, please speak with Mr. Donagher.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are looking forward to a wonderful year working with your child. At this time I would like you to take some time and talk with your child about the classroom expectations and go over the syllabus for your child’s class.

If you have any questions, feel free to write on the bottom of this letter and have your child return it to me. If you would also like to include your email address at the bottom it would be a great resource and form of communication for myself.

After you have read through the expectations and the syllabus, please sign below along with your child. Your child will then return the slip to me. Thank you for your time and feel free to contact me at [email protected]. You may call the school and leave a message at any time throughout the school year if you have any questions or concerns.

                                                                                                                                                                                Thank You,

                                                                                                                                                                                Mr. Donagher
