Welcome to Choir!

Hello!  My name is Ms. Shana Casey and I am the choir director at the senior high school. It is my sincere pleasure to work with the talented students of Red Lion. I'm coming to the senior high with 10 years of experience as a music educator in the state of Pennsylvania. I formerly taught high school and middle school in Cambria County.

 

I graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, with a B.S. in Music Education. From there I went on to earn a Masters in Music in Music Education from Kent State University. I'm currently finishing another masters degree in choral conducting from Messiah University. I am also a member of the Susquehanna Chorale and an active member of PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) and ACDA (American Choral Director Association). 

 

I highly encourage parents/guardians/care takers to join your student's remind group in order to help everyone stay informed and on track.
