About the teacher

Mrs. Carol Kelkis teaches English I, English III, and  Communications.  A graduate of Millersville University with a B.S. Ed. in English, Mrs. Kelkis also holds a Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University.  Mrs. Kelkis has been teaching at the high school since 2005, but has been a member of the school community since 1994 as a substitute, tutor and educator.

 

She is an avid fan of mass media, and has been designated by the national Journalism Education Association as a Certified Journalism Educator. She enjoys writing, designing digital and print projects, making websites, and creating videos.

 

Outside of school, Mrs. Kelkis enjoys travelling around the county, biking, and spending time with her husband and friends. She loves live music and can be found supporting her son's band, Benny Okay, at venues around the region.
