Bio

Jane Dennish has been working at Red Lion High School since 2002. She is a high school English teacher. Her favorite grade to teach is 11th grade, and her favorite content to teach is American Literature. Before coming to Red Lion, Jane graduated from Northeastern High School in 1998. While at Northeastern, Jane was a member of the swim team, soccer team, marching band, concert band, concert choir, student council, class executive council, varsity club, National Honor Society, and the school musical.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in English with a concentration in Secondary Teaching from Lebanon Valley College in 2002. During her years at Lebanon Valley, Jane participated in one school play and was a writer, photography editor and editor-in-chief for the school newspaper.

Jane later received her Masters in Education degree from Penn State University in 2006.

In 2010, Jane met her husband, Matt Dennish, here at Red Lion High School. They still teach in the same hallway together. And yes, she is related to the Dennish's who have worked or are currently working in Red Lion.

Jane stays busy at Red Lion by advising the high school student council. When she is not teaching, you can often find Jane reading, traveling, sitting on the beach in Rehoboth or spending quality time with her nephew and niece!
