Biography
Often called passionate about technology integration, Samantha Smith (@EdTechSmith) helps support 400+ teachers in south central Pennsylvania in the Red Lion Area School District. As an alumni to the district, she and her husband have also choose to raise their children in the district so they have deep ties and pride about all that goes on in the Red Lion Area School District. Samantha's background is in secondary education as a Health Teacher who was afforded the opportunity to assist in technology integration with a grant in 2007. Since then she has continued in that position and now supports K-12 with focused expertise in differentiation with technology, getting started right with technology, everything and anything Web 2.0, digital citizenship and Google, flipped classroom, project-based learning, and online/hybrid/blended education and instruction to name a few. Samantha is a lifelong learner which is necessary when working in the area of technology.
