Bio
Here is a little information about me.
I love Chemistry!!
I was born and raised in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, where I attended and graduated from Cumberland Valley High School in 2003. While in high school, I was a member of the men’s soccer team, baseball team, National Honor Society, and National Foreign Language Honor Society.
Upon graduation from Cumberland Valley, I went on to McDaniel College (formerly known as Western Maryland College) to receive a B.A. in Chemistry with a minor in secondary education. While at McDaniel College, I was a member of the men’s soccer team, Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Faculty-Student Athlete Liaison, and a member of Kappa Delta Pi (Education Honor Society). As a soccer player, I earned several accolades including 1st team All-Conference (2004, 2005, 2006), Conference Player of the Year (2005), and Captain of the team (2005, 2006).
Upon graduation from McDaniel College in 2007, I received an opportunity to teach at Red Lion Area School District as a Chemistry teacher. In my time here at Red Lion, I have taught College Prep Chemistry, Comprehensive (Applied) Chemistry, Integrated Science, General Science, Science and Tech, and Alternative Education Chemistry.
In the fall of 2008, I decided to get my Masters of Science in Educational Administration from McDaniel College. I went on to graduate from McDaniel College again in the spring of 2012. After completing an administrative internship I received Administrative Principal Certificate in 2013.
Currently, I teach College Prep Chemistry, Forensic Science, and Material Science at the Senior High.
