Mrs. Laura DeLawder- BIO
Mrs. Laura DeLawder has been a science teacher at Red Lion Area High School for the past 12 years. In addition to teaching College Prep Biology , she serves as a coach for the High School’s Envirothon team. Additionally, Mrs DeLawder created STEAM Ahead, a STEAM-based fieldtrip event for all Red Lion Area School District second-grade students. In the past, she has also taught Inclusion Science and Technology, Science and Technology, General Science, Chemistry, Kingdoms of Life, and Anatomy and Physiology. Mrs. DeLawder has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Physical Therapy from Villa Julie College (MD) as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from York College of Pennsylvania. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Science Education as well as continuing graduate credits from Carlow University and University of Phoenix.
