Biography
Señorita King is a proud member of the Red Lion Area Senior High School. She earned her B.A. from Shippensburg University and studied at the Universidad de Complutense in Madrid, Spain. She has earned her M.Ed in Spanish Education from Millersville University in 2013. She has traveled all over the United States and to Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Puerto Rico and Ecuador.
She has primarily taught Spanish in Pennsylvania, but also gained experience in Maryland and Arizona.
Ms. King has taught all levels of Spanish from introductory to Spanish for Native Spanish speakers. At Red Lion Area Senior High School, she is currently teaching Spanish I and IV.
The World Language Department strives to provide a unique learning experience that not only focuses on language but also culture. Even though three separate languages are taught, the department enjoys working cooperatively to share ideas and best practices of foreign language teaching strategies. The mission of the World Language Department is to encourage multicultural communication and prepare students to thrive in a global society.
