Biography

Mrs. Daphne Repanshek is a 1980 graduate of West Hazleton High School, and obtained a B.S. Degree in Secondary Education Spanish & English from Lock Haven University in 1984.  Mrs. Repanshek completed her student teaching assignment in a Bilingual High School in Quito, Ecuador.  She is a member of the Red Lion Area Senior High School World Language Department, and has been teaching Spanish at Red Lion S.H. since the 1987-1988 school year.

The World Language Department strives to provide a unique learning experience that not only focuses on language but also culture.  Even though three separate languages are taught, the department enjoys working cooperatively to share ideas and best practices of world language teaching strategies.  The mission of the  World Language Department is to encourage multicultural communication and prepare students to thrive in a global society.
