Ms. Dana L. Schmidt

Ms. Schmidt serves as the Principal at the Senior High School.  She is an alumni of Philadelphia University and obtained her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Drexel University in 2013.  Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, Ms. Schmidt was a Business Teacher for six years and the Director of Research/Planning and Evaluation for the South River School District in New Jersey.  Most recently, Ms. Schmidt served as an Assistant Principal at a high school in Cumberland County.  Ms. Schmidt strives to support students in achieving their greatest potential.

Ms. Schmidt loves to experience new cultures and has been to more than 30 countries in the last 20 years.  She often visits New Jersey, which is where she is from.  Her partner is from Germany, so her family travels there often to visit her children’s Oma and Opa.  Ms. Schmidt loves live music and the New York Yankees and could often be found attending an event over the weekend.  Her most favorite time is spent being with her greatest joys:  her children, Penelope and Oliver, and their father, Stefan.
