Kimberly Dahr has been teaching agriculture for the past nine years. Six of those years have been spent at her alma mater, Red Lion Area Senior High School. She strives to be a lifelong learner and has received numerous CASE certifications including Animal Science, AFNR and Soil & Plant Science. Early on in her career, Mrs. Dahr received her Master's Degree from Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. Her Bachelor's Degree was obtained at The Pennsylvania State University in Agriculture and Extension Education.
In her spare time Mrs. Dahr enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband have three children. Sons ages seven and three, and a daughter who is two. On the weekends the whole family can be found snowmobiling in the winter, boating in the summer, or spending time at the family cabin throughout every season. When not busy shuttling around the family, Mrs. Dahr can be found reading a book in her hammock or sitting by a campfire.
Working with each unique student is Mrs. Dahr's favorite part of being a teacher. She loves getting to know her students and watching them grow throughout their high school career. As the FFA advisor, Mrs. Dahr loves to provide students with additional opportunities outside of the classroom. Her favorite FFA event is the National Convention trip where she travels with the members for a week in October to numerous colleges, industry tours and other adventures. She hopes each of her agriculture students will become a member of the FFA so that they will get the greatest high school experience available!
