Mr. Hewitt

Mr. Hewitt is beginning his first year as an administrator as an Assistant Principal at Red Lion Area Senior High School. A York County native, Mr. Hewitt graduated from Central York High School. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Kutztown University with certifications to teach biology and general science. Mr. Hewitt taught science for seven years at York County School of Technology, which is also when he enrolled at York College in the Master's of Educational Leadership program. Most recently, Mr. Hewitt taught seventh grade life science at Dallastown Area Middle School for fifteen years.

 

Mr. Hewitt enjoys watching movies and playing games with his two young children, Cooper and Vincenza, and Sue, his wife of 23 years. He loves playing sports; especially pickleball, ping pong and volleyball. His favorite memories are those of vacationing with his family at the beach where he enjoys creating sand sculptures.
